I have been struggling with depression and anxiety since 2015. There have been several ups and downs since then but I managed to get through the worst of it.
Over the past few months (since around April) I've faced some conflicts in my personal life that, coupled with my inability to cope with studies + changes around me, have seriously impacted my mental health. Some of the things I'm struggling with right now:
-unhealthy coping behaviours: binge-eating, drinking, poor diet and exercise, sleeping too much
-fatigued and sleepy all the time
-feeling of complete lack of control over thoughts, emotions, actions
-emotional instability. Don't understand my mood swings. Increased irritability.
-anxious, scared about current situation and haven't processed the past few months well
-generally dysfunctional, unable to get things done
-loss of interest in doing anything
-inability to focus on tasks, very poor concentration
