New moles and skin concern
I consulted a dermatologist here in July 2024 for facial pigmentation. The doctor prescribed a cream and Ethiglo Glutathione tablets for 2 months (60 days). However, I only took the tablets for about 40 days and then stopped. I attached one mole pic Since last year, I have started noticing several new moles appearing on different parts of my body over a year. They are small but increasing in number, which is concerning for me. I wanted to know if this could be related to the glutathione tablets I took earlier. Also, recently I noticed a splinter hemorrhage (a thin dark line under my fingernail). It has disappeared now, but on ring finger on top I have slightly dark area that's rarely visible ,I attached the photo .but it made me worried. I have health anxiety and stress, so I wanted to ask if these symptoms could be related to the tablets.

• New small moles appearing over time is quite common and usually related to genetics, sun exposure, and age, not due to glutathione tablets. • Glutathione does NOT cause new moles—there is no evidence for that. • The “black line like splinter haemorrhage” you noticed (likely under nail) and which disappeared is usually due to minor trauma and is not related to glutathione or vitamin deficiency in most cases. Next Steps: • Observe your moles using ABCDE rule: • Asymmetry • Border irregular • Color variation • Diameter >6 mm • Evolving (changing size/shape/color) • If any mole shows changes → consult dermatologist for dermoscopy • No need to panic or stop normal routine Helpful Tips / Word of Caution: • Use sunscreen daily (SPF 50) → prevents new pigmentation/moles • Avoid excessive sun exposure • Do NOT self-remove or scratch moles • Vitamin deficiency usually causes diffuse issues (hair fall, fatigue), not isolated moles When to worry: • Rapidly increasing number of moles • Bleeding / itching / ulceration • Very dark or irregular mole Kindly consult with me via Practo for detailed evaluation and treatment
