Talk to experienced psychiatrist online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
Since you continue to experience OCD and anxiety symptoms it looks like you need to continue medication with consultation from your dr. For OCD you need to continuously counter your thoughts (can you specify on your OCD symptoms?) For your obsessive behaviour e.g washing you hands...you need to tell yourself that my hands are clean I just washed them and I am fine...
You need to understand for your negative unwanted thoughts that you are not your thoughts...your thoughts don't define you...they come and they go too. Giving them too much of importance and continuing to focus on them conditions you for similar thoughts and your mind gets trained to get entangled in it. The way we say NO to people, the same way say NO to the unwanted thoughts the moment they enter your mind. Practice it. Distract yourself with some other activity...it will help.
Next Steps
consultant your psychiatrist or dr on your dosage of meds. if possible get a weekly Counseling on therapy to counter OCD.
