Hi,
My brother met with some minor accident but he is having pain on his leg so we did MRI and showed it to Dr. Very worried as Dr. suggested us a surgery. Don't know because my brother is telling he can manage but some minor pain is there. Please suggest me.

Though the mri films are not visible and i have not examined the patient personally, i can say that mri may be showing some findings but any decision of surgical intervention should be taken on the basis of patient s problems and clinical examination.

Treatment in this case depends on the symptoms of the patient
If pain is severe, then surgery should be done as there is a tear of medial meniscus
If pain is not that bad then start physiotherapy
