Need Proper Guidance
Hello Doctor, Kindly give proper guidance, as I am attaching the reports. The Gynaecologist, whom I showed the reports, told me today that I have to go for major surgery. And Laproscopy is also not possible. But the Consultant Radiologist has said, no need for any type of surgery and any medications. These types come and go. Need not to worry. My TSH, FSH,HB, Blood Sugar, all are at normal range. So I want to confirm, what exactly is going with me. Thanks.

You atleast need an endometrial biopsy if not surgery in view of thick endometrium. Consult your doctor if you should go for that first before deciding on surgery.

The decision of operation depends on your symptoms...if no complaints then can go for routine regular sonography to keep check on size of fibroids if symptoms are there  then should go for operation...

More details regarding her menstrual Cycles are required. She is 50 years old and endometrial thickness is 15 mm which is more than normal in peri menopausal age group. Fibroids are multiple and more than 5 cm in size. Follow the advice of your Gynecologist not the radiologist. One cannot take decisions based on reports only. Examination and details of history are required.
