USG whole abdomen, vit d, hepatits b and c, fbs, thyroid, creatinine, chest x ray, ecg all done and came back clear. But symptoms like loss of appetite, Chest pain/pressure, sounds in abdomen, weight loss, dot like blanching rash under feet is persistent. Previously there was also recurrent abdominal pain in different location, finger joint pain, heel pain, scapula pain and pain in back of throat. Now these are less. All are happening from last 5 months, didn't get any proper diagnosis. I never drink alcohol or smoke in life, and also my life style and food habit is balanced. I never have obesity. Your reports show elevated SGPT with eosinophilia, which often points towards an allergic, parasitic, or drug-related cause rather than primary liver disease—especially since hepatitis tests and ultrasound are normal. The fluctuation in eosinophils and symptoms like rash, abdominal discomfort, and weight loss need deeper evaluation. You should consider tests like stool examination for parasites, IgE levels, autoimmune markers, and review any medicines/supplements you’ve taken in the past few months. Please consult a physician or gastroenterologist for a systematic workup rather than guessing the diagnosis.

Hello, your reports show elevated liver enzymes with fluctuating eosinophil levels along with multiple symptoms like appetite loss, rash, and body pains. This combination can be seen in conditions like allergic reactions, parasitic infections, drug-related liver inflammation, or some immune-related issues. Since basic tests are normal, it needs a more detailed and stepwise evaluation. As your symptoms are persisting for months, I would strongly recommend a proper online consultation so I can review your reports in detail and guide you with the next targeted investigations and treatment. Early proper diagnosis will help you recover faster and avoid unnecessary stress.

What you’re describing is not a simple isolated issue, but the pattern does give some useful clinical direction. What your reports indicate SGPT (158 → 88 → 63) and SGOT (50 → 43): suggests liver inflammation that is gradually improving Bilirubin 1.6: mild elevation; can be seen in liver stress or conditions like Gilbert syndrome Eosinophils 12% → fluctuating (4–7%): this is significant and usually points toward allergic, parasitic, or immune-related causes Most likely possibilities Parasitic infection (common and often missed) Can cause eosinophilia, abdominal discomfort, appetite loss, bowel sounds, and even mild liver enzyme elevation Skin manifestations like rash on feet can also occur Allergic or hypersensitivity reaction Food, environmental, or drug-related Can explain eosinophilia, rash, and sometimes chest tightness or discomfort Eosinophilic gastrointestinal condition Such as Eosinophilic gastroenteritis Can cause abdominal symptoms, weight loss, appetite loss, and fluctuating eosinophils Systemic eosinophilic disorder (needs exclusion) Example: Hypereosinophilic syndrome Considered when symptoms are prolonged and involve multiple systems Post-viral inflammatory phase Liver enzymes improving supports this, but persistent eosinophilia and symptoms suggest something ongoing Important concerns in your case Symptoms persisting for 5 months Weight loss and appetite loss Fluctuating eosinophil levels Multi-system involvement (liver, gastrointestinal tract, skin, earlier joint pains) This means the root cause has not yet been identified, even though basic investigations are normal. What should be done next You need more targeted evaluation rather than repeating routine tests: Stool examination for ova and parasites (preferably 2–3 samples) Absolute eosinophil count (AEC) Serum IgE levels Peripheral smear review Repeat liver function test for trend Gastroenterology consultation if symptoms persist (may consider endoscopy if indicated) Can this be treated Yes, but treatment depends on the exact diagnosis: Parasitic causes require specific anti-parasitic therapy Allergic or eosinophilic conditions need immune-modulating treatment Liver enzymes in your case are already improving, which is a positive sign Avoid starting medications without identifying the cause, as that may delay proper diagnosis. Practical advice Avoid outside and processed foods temporarily Maintain a simple, clean diet Monitor weight weekly Do not ignore the rash; it is a useful diagnostic clue Regards Dr jyoti Kadkol Health Global Homoeopathy, Vijaynagar, Whitefield.Bangalore www.healrthglobalclinics.com

This complex presentation—specifically the combination of elevated liver enzymes (transaminitis) and persistent eosinophilia (high eosinophil count)—is a significant clinical clue. While many standard tests (Hepatitis, USG, X-ray) have come back clear, the persistent symptoms and the specific nature of the lab results suggest a few avenues that may require specialized investigation. The following possibilities are often considered when liver involvement and high eosinophils occur together: 1. Parasitic Infections (Helminthic) In many regions, parasitic infections are a leading cause of the "liver + eosinophilia" signature. Certain parasites migrate through the liver or reside in the bile ducts, causing inflammation and spikes in SGPT/SGOT. Liver Flukes (e.g., Fascioliasis): These can cause abdominal pain, fever, weight loss, and liver enzyme elevations. Strongyloidiasis or Ascariasis: These parasites can cause "Loeffler’s syndrome" (chest pressure/cough) during their lung migration phase and abdominal symptoms later. Suggestion: Discuss a "Stool for Ova and Parasites" test (often required 3 times on different days for accuracy) or specific serology (blood tests) for parasites with a specialist. 2. Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders (EGID) Since your USG and basic blood work are clear, the issue might be at the microscopic level within the tissue. Eosinophilic Gastritis/Enteritis: This occurs when eosinophils infiltrate the lining of the stomach or intestines. It can cause the "sounds in the abdomen," loss of appetite, weight loss, and recurrent abdominal pain you described. Suggestion: A gastroenterologist might suggest an endoscopy or colonoscopy with biopsies to look for eosinophil infiltration, even if the tissue looks "normal" to the naked eye. 3. Drug-Induced Liver Injury (DILI) with Hypersensitivity Even if you do not smoke or drink, certain over-the-counter supplements, herbal remedies, or common medications (like NSAIDs for joint pain) can cause a hypersensitivity reaction in the liver. This often presents with a rash and high eosinophils. 4. Systemic Conditions (Vasculitis or Autoimmune) The "blanching rash" on the feet combined with joint pain and chest pressure could point toward systemic inflammation. EGPA (formerly Churg-Strauss): A rare condition characterized by eosinophil-rich inflammation of blood vessels. It often involves the lungs (chest pain) and skin (rashes). Suggestion: Consult an Immunologist or Rheumatologist to check for markers of vasculitis or systemic autoimmune issues.
Next Steps
Specialist Consultation: If you haven't already, see a Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist and an Infectious Disease Specialist. Additional Blood Work: Ask about a Peripheral Blood Smear (to look at the shape of the eosinophils) and Total IgE levels.

Your condition needs deeper evaluation. The combination of elevated liver enzymes, eosinophilia, skin rash, and systemic symptoms (weight loss, joint pains) suggests that this is not just a simple liver issue, but a systemic disturbance in the body. Possible underlying causes- Based on your symptoms, it may be due to: Hidden parasitic infection (commonly missed in routine tests) Allergic or hypersensitivity reaction Less commonly, an autoimmune or inflammatory condition. Important symptom to note The persistent non-blanching rash under the feet is significant and should not be ignored, as it may indicate deeper pathology. Recommended investigations (if not fully done) CBC with Absolute Eosinophil Count Stool examination (3 consecutive samples) Serum IgE levels ESR, CRP Repeat Liver Function Test Homeopathy does not treat reports alone, but the individual as a whole. Your physical symptoms along with general health, past history, and mental/emotional state will help in selecting the most suitable remedy. Avoid self-medication Please do not take over-the-counter or random homeopathic medicines, as improper remedy selection may delay recovery.
Next Steps
I recommend a detailed consultation with a qualified homeopathic physician for accurate remedy selection and follow-up.

Hai, Your symptomatology suits dyspepsia and raised eosinophills are due to allergic rhinitis. Raised SGOT/SGPT/bilirubin is a precausor of fatty liver ( may be hereditary ). These symptoms are signals from our body. Better to take Homoeopathic tratment and adopt proper diet/ exercise plan than going behind diagnosis.

Based on the details you’ve shared, this appears to be a chronic, systemic issue rather than a single isolated liver problem. The combination of elevated liver enzymes (SGPT/SGOT), fluctuating eosinophil levels, persistent digestive symptoms, weight loss, skin manifestations, and joint pains suggests an underlying imbalance that may not always be detected in routine investigations. In such cases, commonly associated causes can include: • Chronic allergic or parasitic tendencies (linked with eosinophilia) • Functional liver disturbance • Autoimmune or inflammatory conditions • Gut-related disorders affecting absorption and immunity Since your reports are largely normal but symptoms persist for several months, it is important to treat the case holistically rather than focusing only on lab values.

Aapke liver enzymes pehle thode high the (SGPT 158, SGOT 50, bilirubin 1.6), lekin ab SGPT 43 tak aa gaya hai. Ye actually achha sign hai, iska matlab liver injury progressive nahi thi aur recovery ho rahi hai. Hepatitis B/C, USG abdomen, thyroid, sugar, kidney, ECG sab normal hain—isse major liver disease ya structural problem ka chance bahut kam ho jata hai. Ab jo main clue hai wo hai eosinophils ka 12% tak jana aur phir 4–7% ke beech fluctuate karna. Ye usually in cheezon me hota hai: Hidden parasitic / intestinal infection (stool test normal hone ke baad bhi ho sakta hai) Allergy / hypersensitivity (food, environment ya unknown trigger) Chronic low-grade inflammation Kabhi-kabhi gut related eosinophilic disorder ya functional gut issues Aapke symptoms ka pattern bhi important hai: Abdominal discomfort, bloating, appetite loss Chest discomfort / pressure Body pain (joints, heel, back, scapula, throat) Symptoms ka 5 months se fluctuate karna Tests ka mostly normal aana Ye combination often suggest karta hai ki problem ek single organ me nahi, balki gut–immune system interaction ya functional inflammatory state me ho sakta hai. Isme stress-gut axis, food sensitivity ya post-infectious gut irritation bhi role play kar sakta hai. Is stage pe focus hona chahiye “aur tests repeat karne” se zyada targeted evaluation par, jaise: Stool test (multiple samples) for parasites Serum IgE (allergy marker) Vitamin B12, iron, ferritin ESR/CRP (inflammation markers) Agar symptoms persist karein to gastroenterology evaluation for functional dyspepsia / eosinophilic GI condition Overall picture se lagta hai ki koi dangerous disease ka strong evidence nahi hai, but body me ek persistent trigger ya hypersensitivity/inflammation state chal rahi hai, jisko systematically identify karna hoga. Agar chaho to main aapke case ko aur deeply pattern-wise analyze karke exact most likely diagnosis direction aur step-by-step management plan bhi bata sakta hoon. Aap chahein to detailed consultation ke liye connect kar sakte hain, jisse hum symptoms + reports ko ek saath correlate karke clear direction nikal sakein.
