Need help in diagnosis
My 62 Year-old mother has been experiencing intense itching on her upper body. She is currently taking Telma CT 40 mg and Metformin. We consulted a general physician who conducted blood tests and an ultrasound, but all reports came back normal. We then visited a dermatologist, who prescribed Atarax 25, Spectra + Doxepin, and Desloratadine. However, the itching persists with no improvement. Can anyone advise on what might be causing this or recommend a specialist we should consult next? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
