Hello Doctor,
My elder brother (35 yrs) was diagnosed with Grade III Anaplastic Astrocytoma (IDH-negative) in the left temporal lobe. He had awake craniotomy in 2021, followed by radiation and chemotherapy (TMZ). In 2024, the tumor progressed to the right medial temporal lobe. Salvage chemo (TMZ/CCNU) had to be stopped due to an allergic reaction. One cycle of Bevacizumab was given in April 2025 with some response, but symptoms like speech issues, facial heaviness, and memory decline have worsened. Tata Memorial has now suggested radiation again, though with possible side effects. I’m seeking suggestions—any further treatment options, clinical trials, or doctors/hospitals in India we should consider? We are ready to travel. Thank you.
