Nausea due to UTI or it's anti-biotic
“My grandmother (80 years old) has chronic liver and kidney disease with recurrent UTIs. She’s currently being treated for a UTI (E. coli - Nitrofurantoin), but her nausea and vomiting have worsened significantly. Ondansetron hasn’t worked, and she’s refusing food and fluids. Her BP spiked earlier but is now controlled with CILICAR-T. She is not able to walk properly, becoming difficult to take her to near the hospital. I’m concerned about dehydration and need advice on switching antibiotics and controlling her nausea.”
