Nasal allergies/ divereted septum
I m taking medicines on the recomendation of varios ENT doctors e.g Montair lc, ebast tab, cetrizine hcl, various nasal sprays, mucinac 600 , Physiomer hypertonic nasal spray etc for the last one year, for PND, excess mucous dripping in the throat, when sticky causing lot of irritation . Citiscan is showing my nasal septum deviated to one side. Kindly guide me . Should I go for endoscopic septoplasty,No problem of respiration. Only post nares are sometimes blocked due to sticky mucous & cause lot of irrtation. Suggest the appropriate ENT SURGEON. I m retired vety surgeon. Dr S P SACHDEVA

Post nasal discharge can occur because of reasons other than nose. One of the most common cause after chronic rhinosinusitis is reflux laryngopharyngitis. Usually Asymptomatic deviated nasal septum won't be the cause for PND. if your CT scan is not showing and chronic rhinosinusitis then my advise is to try anti reflux medications for few weeks before deciding about surgery
