Continue Exclusive Breast feeding till 6 months of age and after that complementary feeding which means ( home based). The vicious cycle of use and overuse and finally breast feeding being gradually replaced by formula happens with a single sentence, that my baby's is not satisfied or my Breast milk is not sufficient for the baby. Furthermore, baby's hunger is considered synonymous with the increasing quantity of consumption of top feeding( formula).
Any type of formula feed including bottle feeding and commercially available baby food is highly discouraged and definitely compromises the overall health and well being of your infant with increased incidence of recurrent infections and a host of nutritional deficiencies as well. You need honest lactational support and assistance. Still there's lot of time.Best wishes
