Nail/ Skin infection

Asked for Male, 25 Years

Hi, I have some kind of infection or other problem in my right foot thumb. I consulted one general physician and he said it's paronychia. He gave me ointments and medicine. I visited him next week and infection was still there. He then said it's nail enlargement. Can you share your opinion ? Thanks
