My two month old not recognizing me
Hi doctor, my due date was march 11 but due to less baby movements my doctor induced pains and my baby was born with normal delivery on March 3rd with 2.5 kg weight after birth she is not good at feeding and had a severe jaundice and was admitted for phototherapy discharged with weight 2.26 from then she is having gastric problems and not having proper feeding she is now 2 month 10days old and weighing 4.1 kgs. She is not recognizing my face or if we try to move any colored toy in front of her she is not moving her eyes but she looks forward sides and backwards also when we try to make eye contact with her she doesn't see us she looks into sides or upwards.. She laughs herself but when we try to make her laugh she doesn't laugh.. But she is responding to sudden sounds, keeping her hands into her mouth, moving legs and hands sometimes she tries to head up in tummy time(not always) Is this a problem why my baby is not recognizing

Could you share the birth admission documents? You could use a Google drive link to share them. Was an eye checkup(fundoscopy) done at birth?

Is she able to fixate her both eyes on one object? If no, then she require further evaluation by VEP( Visual evoked Potential) to check for optic nerve( nerve conducting signals to brain). Its better to give a visit to pediatric neurologist near by for other aspect of development.
