Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician Hello, Thank you for sharing your thyroid test results. Based on the TSH values you have provided, your thyroid function suggests hypothyroidism, not hyperthyroidism. High TSH levels typically indicate that your thyroid gland is underactive and not producing enough thyroid hormone. Your TSH levels ranging from around 12 to 33 over the last two years show persistent hypothyroidism that requires appropriate management. Important points: Avoiding medication and relying solely on lifestyle changes may not be sufficient to control hypothyroidism, especially at these TSH levels. Untreated or poorly controlled hypothyroidism can lead to symptoms like fatigue, weight gain, cold intolerance, and other complications over time. Regular thyroid hormone replacement therapy, usually with levothyroxine, is the standard treatment and is safe when monitored properly. Ayurvedic or alternative medicines may provide supportive care but are generally not a substitute for thyroid hormone replacement in cases of persistent hypothyroidism. It’s important to work closely with your doctor to find the right dose and maintain stable thyroid hormone levels through regular testing. What I recommend: Consult your physician for a detailed assessment and to discuss starting or adjusting thyroid hormone replacement therapy. Continue your healthy lifestyle — balanced diet, regular exercise, and stress management — alongside medical treatment. Avoid self-medicating or stopping prescribed treatments without medical advice. If you wish, I’m available to review your reports in detail and guide you through a personalized treatment plan. Wishing you good health, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician

Hypothyroidism is a metabolic problem where your thyroid gland is not able to produce adequate Thyroxin hormone to your body. So that Thyroxin to be supplemented from outside.
Next Steps
Don't stop Thyroxin tablet abruptly, rather take it any do lifestyle modification, what you are already doing. then repeat TSH after 2 months....We can reduce the dose or after few months can withdraw the drug with proper follow up.
