Hello welcome madam Do not jump on to medications immediately You need to do ultrasound of thyroid gland Free thyroid hormones levels Thyroid antibodies test If needed CT scan brain to rule out pituitary gland pathology If there is swelling in thyroid gland ( nodules) Fine needle aspiration biopsy should be done
