Hi, I am not a psychiatrist to able to comment on the dosage of the medicine. However, I can assure you that working with a psychologist or therapist who works with children will help Him more than medication. Your som is fine. He is just triggered by some fear which is caused by something that happened when he went outside last time because of which his fear of being outside is triggered in the subconscious. Your son is beautiful as is.
Next Steps
I can help you work with your son and put him back to safety where he can go out. Love and healing ❤️‍

Firstly if you have taken help from a psychiatrist then the medicines are suggested by that doctor secondly talk therapy or counselling, much more beneficial for such a age like 16 year old as you mentioned above also before you book a session you need to ask yourself one question that - would you like your child to be less dependent on medicines and more dependent upon the self confidence if the answer is yes then counselling sessions are for you. Well, if it's for a prolonged period of time then you might write to me in person - double eight zero two two nine seven nine four three.

It can be post traumatic phobia. It needs to be ruled out. You should get a cause. Above medicine has lot of side effects and addiction, may not be suitable for kids for long term treatment. Homeopathic medicine and counseling sessions would be the best solution for your concern.

Hi... If these medications are prescribed by a Psychiatrist then it is fine. Psychologist's do not prescribe medications, they provide psychotherapy/counselling. Psychiatrist is a medical professional. S/he is trained in medicine (mbbs, md, etc.). I know some good psychiatrists in Bangalore but not in Howrah. If you are fine with online consultations, I can share contacts.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychiatrist first and a Psychologist later. Diagnosis and medication is necessary. Psychotherapy/Counselling will come later after meditations play their part effectively.
