Hii doctor.. my husband has met with accident exactly a month ago on this same day 11 th march & next day he went through anal alceration surgery on 12th march becoz of injury. After surgery his sutures came off in 4 days due to constipation. so doctors asked him to keep the wound open & apply t bact ointment everyday till it heals. But as the wound is healing i can see minor cut inside the healing surgical open wound which was not dere earlier. Iam attaching few photos fr reference so plz go through that & tell me whether its ok or any further treatment or evaluation is needed. He is only on ointment no tablets & he has no pain when he lays down he only gets pain when he drives scooty. At present he is on complete bed rest. He is not able to sit properly still & he feels some leakage from wound still every morning when he gets up but i cant see any pus or infection still. Plz we neef a feedback soon. Thank u..

It looks like a healing wound..so u can continue same treatment protocol and give fiber diet and maintain adequate hydration to not to have constipation..and do sitz bathing daily thrice for 15 min each..
Sitz bath twice to thrice daily for 15 mins. And keep applying the ointment, keep the area clean. Continue the current ointment after cleaning and drying the area. Consult if you see abnormal bleeding, lot of pain and discomfort.
Keep it open and apply ointment as prescribed. U can take stool softener if there is constipation and continue Sitz bath. Visit a General Surgeon for per rectal examination.
Good evening madam. For me it's looking like an infection.
Surroundings erythema suggests it more likely. So kindly visit a general surgeon. May need further investigations like ultrasound blood tests.
