My daughter has fever around 100
How to bring down my daughter's fever. I gave her calpol drops twice but fever is reducing a bit only and again it is picking up. She is 11 months old.

Give paracetamol drops every 8 th hourly or 6 th hourly depending upon the presence of fever. If child’s food intake is good, general condition is good you can wait for 3-5 days. If fever persists more than 5 days , Pediatrician consultation is necessary.

You can give calpol drops every 6 hrly, give for total 2 dayscof fever, if your daughter is active playful than nothing to worry, consult pediatrician if fever persist on 3rd day

Hi.
Most viral fever will take 2-3 days to settle. Give Calpol 6 hrly if fever.
Next Steps
If fever doesn’t settle, then take her to nearby paediatrician
