For weak muscles after a knee injury and general muscle relaxation, Ayurveda recommends the following: Ayurvedic Muscle Relaxants & Strengtheners Herbal Formulations: Ashwagandha Churna or Tablet – Strengthens muscles and relieves fatigue. Mahayograj Guggulu – Helps in joint recovery and muscle pain. Trayodashang Guggulu – Supports nerve and muscle function. Chandraprabha Vati – Improves muscle tone and circulation. External Applications: Mahanarayana Tailam (Oil Massage) – Deep muscle relaxation and pain relief. Dhanwantharam Thailam – Strengthens nerves and muscles, useful post-injury. Pinda Thailam – Helps in inflammation and joint pain. Panchakarma Therapies: Abhyanga (Full body massage with medicated oils) – Relaxes muscles. Kati Basti (Warm oil therapy on the knee) – Reduces stiffness. Pizhichil (Oil dripping therapy) – Beneficial for weak muscles. Diet & Lifestyle: Increase calcium and protein intake (milk, paneer, almonds). Consume ghee and sesame seeds for joint lubrication. Do mild yoga & stretching (avoid excessive strain). Let me know if you need a more specific remedy based on your symptoms.

Hi 1. Do Alternate heat and cold therapy for 20 minutes at a time, 3-4 times a day like applying of ice and fomenting with a cotton cloth 2. Do Locally gentle Massage over your tight muscle with mahanarayana taila few times a day. It helps in blood circulation and helps in relieving the cramps and helps in strengthening of your muscles also 3. Give Rest to your affected muscles and joints until the stiffness decreases. 4. Do gently Stretching throughout the day, especially before and after exercise.
