Better get ultrasound neck and physical consultation done.. Sometimes the infection can be so severe that patient needs injection antibiotics or even incision drinage procedures..
If the swelling is increasing kindly visit an ENT specialist in your vicinity and also get an ultrasound scan done.Parotid swelling need not always be due to mumps.Ultrasound is to rule out whether there is any pus collection.You might also have to take antibiotics.
