Mucus present in urine report
Sir /Madam Urinalysis report had mucus present. Is this serious. Kindly help. Complete report as follows; Colour/ Appearance - pale yellow/ clear Pus cells : 00-01 RBC- NILL Mucus- Present Epithelial cells : 00-01 Bacteria - Absent Yeast- Absent Amorphous deposit - Absent Calcium oxalate crystals- Present Uric acid crystal - Absent Triple phosphate crystal - Absent Blood & protein - Absent Glucose & Ketones - Negative Bilirubin Urine- Negative Specific gravity - 1.025 Uribilinogen- Negative Nitrite- Negative Leucocyte esterase- Negative WBC cast - Absent RBC Cast - Absent Granular cast- Absent Hyaline cast- Absent Besides this ultrasound report shows a stone of 3mm in right kidney midpole ( drinking sufficient water is recommended)and grade 1 prostate enlargement. Sir is the PRESENCE OF MUCUS in the urine report concerning... Kindly help. Thanks in advance
