What you have is a mucocele — a small cyst-like swelling on the inner lower lip caused by a blocked minor salivary gland duct. The fluctuating size you describe (smaller one day, larger the next) is very characteristic of mucoceles. There are no tablets or ointments that can resolve a mucocele — it needs a small surgical procedure (excision or marsupialization) done by a dentist or oral surgeon, which is a quick and simple outpatient procedure. Without treatment, mucoceles tend to recur even if they temporarily reduce in size.
Next Steps
Please visit a dentist or oral surgeon for evaluation and minor surgical removal. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.

Accidental lip biting (most common cause) Repeated chewing or sucking of the lip , injuries Sharp teeth or orthodontic appliances causing chronic irritation When a salivary gland duct is damaged, saliva leaks into the connective tissue, forming a soft, fluid-filled swelling called an extravasation mucocele. So check for any such lip bite.
Next Steps
This needs a small intervention, the surgeon will do excision, giving you local anesthesia there, suture 2-3 absorbable ones ,hardly 10 minutes procedure.
Health Tips
check for irritant causes, and avoid them to prevent recurrences.
