Mucirmycosis Or not
My mother recoverd from covid almost 3 weeks ago. She only take paracetamol and amoxcilin during covid positive and the treatment was in home. Now from yesterday she eel some aches in the eye but no redness Or swelling or any sootting. Now she feel some pain in chawal when open mouth.she has no other problem all over the body. She is non diabetic. Now I am very fear about that whether it is mucormycosis Or not? She is dust alergic patient. Plz help at this situation

Check your mother’s HbA1C and cbc and ESR , this will give confirmation if she is having mucormycosis or not

Itching in the eye is common feature after Covid due to mild viral conjunctivitis as well as your mother had a history of allergy is there any swelling in the eye or redness which is increasing. Pain in the mouth is the alarming Sign because of the involvement of maxillary sinus the tooth’s root are also involved Which lies in the maxillary sinus hence this maybe early sign now mucormycosis
