Question:
Hello Doctor,
I had a recent accident and now have pain in both knees. I got MRI scans done for both knees.
Right knee findings:
Mild ACL sprain
Mild MCL sprain
Grade 1 chondromalacia patella
Minimal joint effusion
Mild swelling
Left knee findings:
Mild ACL sprain
Grade 2 chondromalacia patella
Minimal joint effusion
Mild swelling
Currently, I feel pain while walking and some discomfort while bending my knees.
I would like your advice on:
Which knee is more serious and needs more attention?
Do I need complete rest or can I continue light walking?
How long will recovery take for both knees?
Is physiotherapy necessary? When should I start?
Can this heal completely without surgery?
What medications or precautions should
