Mouth ulcer and ear pain

Asked for Female, 5 Years

My daughter is5 years old.she is having ulcer in her mouth at the tonsil area.Doctor suggested sucral-o. The problem of ulcer has now reduced but now she's complaining of pain in her left ear whenever she eats something.Doctor said to give her calpol syrup but no effect.What is the problem and what medication to be followed?

Throat and Ears share the same nerve. So problems in throat can cause pain in the ear. Let her do Hexidine mouth gargle 5ml for 2 minutes 5 times in a day for at least 5 days.
