Looks more like dissociative episodes. She is probably still grieving in a complicated manner. Please take her to a Psychiatrist if symptoms don't improve.

Hi
Ita dissociation
Like when reality is too harsh to handle person who is psychologically very weak or vulnerable cuts of from reality and goes in a fit type of situation. Later forgets everything that happened during that time.
She needs counseling support and medicine
Tell me more about her symptoms and if she can talk once it will be great..
Few important questions here was 1) when did your father in law pass? 2) also symptoms aren’t very clear here. Consult a nearby psychiatrist to rule out physical causes as well as psychological issues.
