All procedure has it's set of success rate and set of complications.Mitraphenoff procedure is one of the accepted mode of surgery called continent diversion in which CIC from a easily accessible conduit made in abdomen has to be performed. It has significant rate of reoperation and long term stoma stenosis along with other complications of surgery in about 8-35 percent.
