Mirror hurt in the foot

Asked for Female, 20 Years

My friend got a small piece of mirror hurt in the foot . His mother got it out then and there and also cleaned it and then applied savlon antiseptic then haldi but I have doubt if he should get any further treatment or not? It's been 3-4 days since this happened and now foot pain still there.
