Mild tinnitus problem
My mother is 40 yrs old and haves very mild tinnitus case. We went to a doctor and he gave her tinnex capsule along with ginkoherb-M and khyme-10 she took the medicine at work and experienced severe headache along with nausea, drowsiness, difficulty in concentration and the tinnitus sound also increased after taking the medicine can someone tell me the reason why did it happen so? And are these medicines are wrong??.( She also haves diabetes too so consider that also).

Did u get audiometry tests done? (Pure tone,impedence,oae,speech reception and threshold test?)
Any ct scan was advised?
Any family history of hearing loss?
How many days did u take the medication?
The medications seem alright, and yeah in some people it can cause the above side effects.stop it right away.
There are 100s of causes for tinnitus... i believe she requires more investigations and its difficult to comment on it right now.
