Hello, I understand your concern — burning in the chest and stomach, especially after outside food and worsened by tea or coffee on an empty stomach, is most likely due to acidity or gastritis. Back pain can sometimes accompany this because of acid irritation. Advice • Avoid spicy, oily, and outside food for now. • Do not take tea/coffee on an empty stomach, instead eat small frequent meals. • Drink plenty of water and try to have early dinners. What to Monitor • Whether burning persists despite dietary changes. • Any associated nausea, vomiting, black stools, or weight loss. Management You can try an antacid syrup or a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) tablet for a few days for relief. Avoid self-medicating long-term without doctor’s advice, as dosage and duration differ from person to person. When to consult immediately • If chest burning feels like chest pain with sweating or breathlessness. • If vomiting blood or passing black stools. • If pain becomes constant or severe. 👉 For safe medicines and a personalized treatment plan, you can connect with me directly on Practo or WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician

This looks like gastritis/acid reflux, usually worsened by outside food and tea/coffee on an empty stomach. Take light, easily digestible meals, avoid spicy/fried foods, tea, coffee, and alcohol, and don’t stay empty stomach for long. If burning persists beyond a week or you develop vomiting, black stool, or severe pain, consult  doctor. I hope it helps you.
