Hi, I just recently visited a clinic & spoke with a doctor and was diagnosed with a middle Ear infection. He prescribed antibiotic pills . Was also given a paper with instruction that it should help in 1-2 days or 1 month and have to continue to finish the whole medication every 12 hrs. I called the clinic back and they said if it doesn't improve in 10 days i should call back.. It's been 5 days since I seen a doctor and question is ... Should it take less to clear up by now?

Hi.
Always complete the antibiotic course.....as suggested by your doctor.(as,irregular or half doses of antibiotic usage is one of the reasons for developing resistance to drugs)
And go for review consultation once you are done with the course given.....
