Methergine for Blood clot after Abortion
I had an abortion at 6 weeks few days ago. Now i went for USG and found that i had blood clots in uterus. There isn't any bleeding. I visited doctor and she gave me Azithromycin and Methergine. But when I searched online, i found that methergine is used for stopping postpartum bleeding. Should I take it to induce bleeding and remove blood clot?

You had an abortion of 6 wks pregnancy.  If no bleeding then you can just wait until next period, clots will clear up. Antibiotics can be taken but no role of methergin tab.
