Metallic taste from crown.
Sir/Madam My dentist my old metal crown on a RCT treated tooth with a new metallic crown, as the old crown was worn out... The new crown was placed 6 days back but since that day I am feeling a metallic and sour taste from the crown and whole mouth feels metallic and salty . Is it normal or serious. Pls help what should I do ? Thanks in advance

It is totally normal. But it must not persist for long period of time. In the beginning for a few days metallic taste is normal, later it gets okay. If persists for longer time period then get it re-evaluated.
