Met-innovfol instead of metformin
I am 35 years old trying to conceive. I am daibetic and taking metformin sr 500. Now my hgba1c is 5.8 My gynecologist is suggesting that I take met-innovfol instead of metformin.. is it safe ? Shall I change the tablet ?

Metformin is okay. I don’t think it is available in combination you have mentioned. The innovofol component is also fine. Folvite 5 mg in any form, food rich in iron are needed.
