I am 35 years old trying to conceive. I am daibetic and taking metformin sr 500. Now my hgba1c is 5.8
My gynecologist is suggesting that I take met-innovfol instead of metformin.. is it safe ? Shall I change the tablet ?

Your recent sugar levels please ...if more than 200mg get insulin which is safe in pregnancy if not be under strict diabetic diet,walk in ur pace for 30mins everyday....

Metformin is okay.
I don’t think it is available in combination you have mentioned.
The innovofol component is also fine.
Folvite 5 mg in any form, food rich in iron are needed.
