I am suffering from problem of fluid stacked behind my eardrum. Continuous tinnitus in my right ear. I have consulted many doctors but in vain. Taking medicines since March 28'26 but still not able to recover this. I have taken various antibiotic and painkiller as per advise of doctor but when doses reduces it stopped again the problem persist. Swelling is also seen below my ear in cheek. One doctor has suggested for operation to remove fluid by surgery and inserting the growmet. Another doctor suggested that take medicines it is resolving. But after taking medicines nothing works and I am still back to square one. Pls help me

Hello, if the problem is fluid behind your ear and it is not getting resolved than surgery is a better option . And there are other investigations to properly diagnose your condition. Regarding swelling below your ear and cheek consult the ENT doctor again for examination and cause of the swelling

XYLOMETHAZOLINE NASAL DROPS three drops thrice daily before steam inhalation ONLY for 5 days
Steam inhalation thrice daily
Tab N - ACETYLCYSTEINE 600mg 1-0-1 for 5 days (mucolytics)
