Mephaquin over dose for a 4 years old ch
Dear Sir,
By Mistake I gave my son 2 days ago an over dose of Mephaquin 250mg, that i give him weekly as a prvention from Malaria, as we are expats living in west Africa,
my son is 4 years old and weighs 16kg, i usually give hime 1/3 a pill, by listake 48 hrs ago i gave him 1/5 a pill.
last night i noticed unvoluntarily movement in his head and stammering when he talks, it lasted for 30 minutes.
this morning, he woke up Ok, but it came back again for 3 minutes. please advise what can i do. thx

Plz visit doctor urgently. Symptoms are probably unrelated to drug. Underlying cause of such movements need to be found out & treated well.
