Mentally imbalance
My father suffered from severe stroke 4 years ago. Complete treatment was done, but still he walks with support. These days he has talking very weired things, eg let's go train is coming. While he is home he still insists us let's go home. Please guide me. Also shud consult psychiatrist or neurosurgeon? His treatment was done by neurosurgeon.

Hi. Behavioural problems can often occur after stroke, and these may begin years after the initial attack. These can consist of memory lapses, talking irrelevantly, undue aggression etc. A psychiatrist will be able to help you in resolving the same. Hope this helps. Take care.
