Please understand that harming yourself is not going to help solve the problem. Cutting of self is a sign of intense psychic pain. Hence it does tell me the level of your distress and despair. However ideas of self harm or suicide are a red flag sign, and my sincere advice for you is to please seek a consultation with a psychiatrist at the earliest. Marital issues will require a comprehensive assessment and thereafter a plan of marital or couples therapy can be drawn. However first step has to be seeking help by consultation with a psychiatrist.
