Hey Thanks for reaching out It is a trauma anxiety loop. The abusive call in 2017 created an emotional shock that your mind never fully processed, so it keeps replaying as intrusive memories. When those memories come, your body reacts with intense fear, and your mind catastrophizes this will cause a stroke, brain hemorrhage, or heart attack.” That fear makes the memory feel even more powerful, so the cycle continues. Importantly, thoughts and memories cannot cause brain hemorrhage, stroke, or heart attack. These conditions are caused by medical factors, not by recalling abuse. What you’re experiencing is your nervous system staying stuck in threat mode, not physical damage. Feeling low, exhausted, and scared after years of this is completely understandable. The problem is not your strength or your mind it’s that the trauma was never safely processed, and your brain learned to fear the memory itself. This is very treatable with trauma-focused therapy (CBT, EMDR, or trauma-informed work), where the goal is to reduce the emotional charge of the memory and break the fear–body reaction link. You don’t need to keep living in fear of your own thoughts. Take therapy. You can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.
