I am asking this question behalf of my father. My father is 82 years old now from last 1 years he is behaving really odd. My father has a high voice. Pichle 1 year se wo paagal wali harkatein kr rhe hai.
Not sleeping properly at night. Sabke sath jhgda krna, maa k sath jhgda krna. Batein bhul jana. He is old ex servicemen and he is self efficient.
Literally pura family paresan h agar iska koi ilaz hai kindly help. Anytime bas chillana and jhgda krna.

Needs clinical evaluation. Sounds like he has dementia. Needs an MRI Brain and certain other blood tests as well

irritability and anger outbursts can point to multiple diagnosis- dementia if there’s associated memory decline( most likely diagnosis), late onset psychosis, geriatric depression
