Meniscus tear
I twisted my right knee last dec.There wasnt much swelling but there was pain.Consulted an orthopedic on march and did mri Grade-1 tear involving femoral attachment site of acl Anterior horn of lateral meniscus shows vertical tearof 4mm Strain in mcl He didnt say Nythng abt surgery there is still lil pain.Should i go for surgery?Wont it heal?

Acl and mcl according to reports May not cause pain and thus surgery May not be required for that but the meniscus which acts like a cushion of the knee if it has a tear May cause pain so I would suggest consult a orthopaedic doctor who does arthroscopy or specialised in sports medicine and he will be in a better position to answer your query regarding the same
