Tested positive on 20th May. No diabetic anything.. Only taking thyroid tablet 50mg. Isolated aat home Only. Doctor prescribed steroid tablets. Whysolone 10mg for 3days morning and night, methylprednisolone 8mg for 5days morning and night. Is this a high dose of steroid? Plz reply. Fearing of fungus

Kindly get CRP D-Dimer HRCT(if coughs or Shortness) of breath done before starting such high dose of steroids. It can also be managed without steroid if it is a mild infection
