Medicine and Epley Manoure  BPPV virtigo
On 31st January, i had severe virtigo attack. I visited Medanta hospital and there I was diagnosed BPPV and they did Epley Manoure which reduced my dizziness. They also advised Zervert 8 mg twice a day. I was still getting dizziness, so i again did free follow up consultation next day. There one more Epley manoure was done. Now i am not getting severe virtigo problem. But still getting little dizziness while walking. My questions are: Question1: How many Epley Manoure are required to completely get rid of BPPV? Question 2: Is there any side effect of Zevert 8 mg if i continue it for long time. I am also suffering with Grave hyperthyroid and Atrial fibrillation and taking a lot of bp, thyroid, blood thinner. Question 3 : I am getting tinnitus sound continuously since 31st. How to get rid of sound. Kindly answer all 3 questions

Good evening ! 1. Doing epleys is alone not sufficient maintaining the head position avoiding headshaking vigorously! Epleys is a repositioning maneuvere it depends on hw patient is recovering with that 2.taking betahistines on tapering dose doesnt cause harm But donot get dependent over it 3. Needs complete history and examination to comment upon why tinnitus has occured (both examination and audiological assessment ) Take care follow vestibular exercises if diagnosed BPPV!
