Yes. Untreated hypothyroidism can cause additional problems for women after marriage to/when they, get pregnant.
The treatment is almost always life long.
Do the following
1. Start Thyronorm 25mcg once a day and the dose can be adjusted by your local doctor if needed
2. Blood test- TPO antibodies
3. After 4 weeks of Thyronorm, get Blood test for TSH.

Yes ,medicine is needed because tsh is so high and its hypothyroidism. Tab levothyroxine 50 mg is preferable morning time before taking tea.
