Is   Amitop 25mg safe during breastfeeding????     My baby is six and half months months old? ?? ???

Hi amitop is secreted in small amounts in breast milk. amitriptyline 25 mg is a small dose: however it can cause sedation in young babies. We prefer to prescribe some other antidepressants which are safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Please consult a Psychiatrist
