Vitamin D deficiency is common among indians. Current guidelines donot recommend treatment for all, only for selected groups we advocate treatment. Regarding viain b12 def, it's not normal. May need Oral or parenteral replacement depending on your other factors. Few more tests are to be done before deciding on oral or injection. In pernicious anemia oral will not work Regards

Hi, Low B12, D, mild anaemia and raised liver enzymes are common and improve with supplements and lifestyle changes. The lipids can be managed with diet too. Continue your current vitamins and repeat tests in 4 weeks. Feel free to consult for further guidance.

Your report shows several important findings — your B12 and Vitamin D are low and you are already treating these correctly. However, your platelet count is mildly reduced, your HDL (good cholesterol) is quite low with borderline high LDL, and your liver enzymes are slightly elevated, all of which need proper attention. The kidney numbers being marginally low are likely related to your diet and build but still need to be monitored. These findings together require a proper clinical evaluation to plan the right next steps.
Next Steps
Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation and a proper management plan for all these findings.

Hello! I have reviewed the results you shared First, it is excellent that you have already initiated treatment for your Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D3 deficiencies with Nurokind OD and Uprise D3 60K. Addressing these will provide a solid foundation for improving your overall energy levels and cellular health.
Next Steps
Next step is lifestyle modification, since you have increased ldl(bad cholesterol) and low hdl (good cholesterol), Cut down on fried foods and saturated fats, eat more soluble fiber (oats, vegetables), and start regular aerobic exercise to boost your HDL. For the LFT elevation : Reduce refined sugars, avoid unnecessary over-the-counter medications Continue your B12 supplements, as this should help improve your red blood cell count Ensure you are getting adequate daily protein. Recheck these level in 8-12 weeks

Your blood investigations show deranged liver function tests with low platelet counts. And also very low b12 and vitamin D levels So if you are vegetarian you should be started on proper supplements. There are different molecules within same b12 with varying efficiency for absorption. If you are not a vegetarian then having low b12 is abnormal. Ideally you should consult and after proper history then we have to find the cause and treat it.
