While marpe for palatal expansion is a choice to consider but the final desicion can only be made upon studying the cbct scans which will show the rate of bone fusion since you are already 18 years.

I would suggest you to visit an orthodontist that specifically specializes in maxillary skeletal expansion (MSE) since it is a technique sensitive procedure. Also the treatment charges would be a bit higher above 40k.
