I have a narrow palate and bilateral posterior crossbite and my orthodontist has suggested elastics to correct the crossbite and told me that palate expansion is not possible without surgery but I'm worried that the elastics will make my face too narrow so I wanted to get a second opinion.
I would also like to mention that I currently have braces and deep bite boosters.

Dear Practo user ,
To ensure an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan, a comprehensive case history and radiographic evaluation are essential. I recommend attaching the Lateral Cephalogram and OPG for a thorough assessment. These radiographs will provide valuable insights into skeletal, dental, and soft tissue structures, allowing for a precise diagnosis and appropriate treatment recommendations.
