Hello Doctor,
My wife is undergoing treatment for malaria. It's the 3rd day of the treatment but still she is getting fever with shivering during night.
Is this normal?
After doing blood test on 2nd day of the treatment doctor told blood platelets are reduced ( to 1.7lakh).
Is this normal?
Within how many days we can see improvement in count?
What should she do for platelet count increase?
Note: we have a baby of 45days old.
Is it safe to do breastfeeding?

My dear, check from a reliable laboratory.. Your uploaded report is showing that she has both vivax and falciparum malaria together which is very very rare. I assume that the report is not correct.
