Lymph nodes in neck
Hi,
I got lymph nodes near ear and level 5 of neck.I went to Ent and an ultrasound was guided which showed fatty hilum.I Was told that is is reactive. I asked doctor about Fnac he told they are not 1cm and we don't consider nodes which are less than 1cm for Fnac.Please guide me on this .

The lymphnodes in neck can get enlarged when you have infection in head neck region .
Your usg suggest it is reactive hence I don't think it is that serious.
Also the doctor is right that the fnac is not needed most of the times in a subcentimetric lymphnodes.
